Core Concepts: Tokenization of RWAs
Tokenization is the process of converting the rights to a real-world asset into a digital token on a blockchain. CoinLander tokenizes mortgage loan. Each project token you own represents a proportional share in a pool of underlying mortgage assets. This entitles you to a share of the monthly interest payments generated by those mortgages.
Architecture & Security
CoinLander's protocol is built with security and transparency as its foundation.
- Immutable Logic: Core smart contract logic for vaults and distributions is non-upgradable, ensuring the rules cannot be changed.
- Multi-Sig Admin: Privileged functions are controlled by a multi-signature wallet, requiring consensus from several team members and preventing a single point of failure.
- Transparent Operations: All transactions and yield distributions are verifiable on-chain.
The Investment Project Token (CLTWXXXX / CLHKXXXX)
- What it is: The Project Token is the primary yield-bearing asset token on CoinLander. It represents direct ownership in a pool of underlying real-world mortgage assets.
- Value Mechanism: The value of 1 Project Token has a principal value of $1 USDT, continuously accrues yield, and the Smart Contract automatically distribute interest by the end of each month, and the interest plus principal capital by the maturity.
- Maturity: When the mortgage loan reaches its maturity date, the Smart Contract triggers a final settlement. The holder receives a one-time transfer of the remaining principal plus all final interest. Following this distribution, even though the token remain in the wallet, the token is retired and becomes worthless.
- Standard: Project Tokens are ERC-20 tokens, making it compatible with most wallets and services.
